Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, Philadelphia, PA

After a two year delay due to the Covid emergency, the 250^th anniversary of the Philadelphia Saint Patrick’s Day Parade was finally held on Sunday March 13 and the 69^th Pa “Irish Volunteers” were at the front of march. Their muskets were firing; their flags were waving in the wind and their ladies were in lead with the 69^th banner. New Captain Michael Ernsberger led the regiment on the streets of Philadelphia on a cold and winding day. The day before the parade had seen a rain storm followed by a snow storm  but the 69^th was there to show It’s colors and honor the Irish community.
