Annual Reenactment at Old Bedford, PA
June 9-11, 2023
Eight members of the 69th Pa traveled West to central Pa to experience the annual reenactment at Old Bedford Village in June 2023. The event gave the unit an opportunity to meet with reenactors from the Western Part of the state – units from the USV and Birney’s Brigade. We fell in with USV units from the Pittsburgh area. We were pleased by the good turnout and the amount of artillery attending.
Old Bedford Village is a reconstructed 19th century town with historically accurate recreations of homes, shops and farm life. The battle was well done and those from the 69th who attended enjoyed the event and look forward to next years opportunity to participate.
Once again the 69th honored those who died serving their country in wars around the world and at home.
