160th Anniversary Reenactment at Gettysburg, PA
June 23-25, 2023

Once again the 69th Pa was given to honor of placing it’s banner at the center of the stone wall during Pickett’s charge at the 160th Anniversary reenactment.

Captain Michael Ernsberger led his troops in four major Gettysburg segment battles: Willoughby Run, The Wheat Field, East Cemetery Ridge and, of course, Pickett’s Charge.

The 160th site was an excellently planned reproduction of all four battle sites and the 69th camp was once again the center of music, planning and renewed comradeship. The weather was sometimes a challenge but the lads of the 69th prevailed.

Those who attended were pleased by the numbers of soldiers who turned out for the event and enjoyed the fierce battles which occurred all weekend. The event saw the largest reenactment attendance in many years.
